I totally agree with you re: media feeding us bullshit to encourage privatizing our health care system. What I'd like to see and believe it'll make a real difference - is to have Health Ministers at the helm who know how to balance a freaking checkbook, or who at the very least have some knowledge on how to run a freaking enterprise. Instead, we have at the helm )both Provincial and Federal) freaking doctors who have had NO Financial training at all! Doctors do not belong in positions of our financial health portfolios. The results of that are obvious... they've run it into the ground - just like all the other government run departments. They consider the tax payer their own personal bank that they turn to whenever their incompetence breaks their budgets. Much more to say on all your topics - but I have to sign off. Before I do though, I used to like Dan Delmar somewhat. But after listening to him shill for le gouvernement de Quebec and deliberately lie about what's going on here with our English Schools... saying things like paraphasing here: that there's not enough French taught in our schools in Quebec... there should be more; that the rest of Canada doesn't offer enough French education (which is an outright lie... take a look at their numbers and then compare them to our English schools left... really none, because they're all immersion now) and more drivel like that, (enough that I'm buying a transcript of it - it was so disgusting).. that Dan Delmar, is no one I want to ever hear again.
