I am indeed looking for a guest contributor, a task I have put off long enough.
As Sister Sage’s Musings is a Canadian left leaning blog, I am of course looking for contributors with the same mind frame. Not that I discriminate, and I may be open to sharing another blog with someone of the Conservative persuasion, provided they sound intelligent of course, which excludes pretty much everyone from Romper Room (Blogging Tories). It’s something I always wanted to do, but that will have to wait.
However, Sister Sage’s Musings is, has always been and will continue to be left winged. Therefore these/this contributor(s) has to be left winged. I would also prefer that this/these contributors be Canadian.
I am the sole proprietor of this self-hosted wordpress blog and I intend to remain that way, so, no, I’m not looking for any financial contribution for hosting fees or things like that. Hence, the term guest contributor (s).
I am very proud of how Sister Sage’s Musings has been evolving and growing and would like to keep it up. I certainly intend to remain active. If I sometimes have to take a day or two or even a week or two off, I still want some activity continued as much as possible.
However, as many of my readers know, I have been sacked with health issues, like migraines which sometimes prevent me from the rigorous task of research, writing and typing. It is also the reason I haven’t contributed any new digital satirical artwork as of late.
I also have other projects which have been put off long enough that I must start making a dent in.
One of the benefits of guest contributing, it gives you a chance to express your views and have them read. It is also ideal for those who are interested simply in part time and/or sporadic blogging without committing to his/her own web site–either self-hosted or not. Can also be ideal for bloggers who wish to sometimes contribute elsewhere to find a different audience.
If you like politics and like either writing or cartooning or other forms of political satire, please email me . Have to say, my blog is the best unpaid writing job I’ll ever have!
