Tea-Baggers Protest Their Own Convention

This is cute for some Saturday nite humor.

I couldn’t believe one of the headlines splashed under a big picture of See Sawah run on Huffington Post. It would seem there is now a battle between the haves and the have nots.   There is a group of  4 tea-baggers protesting outside of; you guessed it; the tea-bagger convention in Nashville going on where See Sawah run is the keynote speaker. They’re protesting that the 550$ per ticket event was way more than most of them can afford.

“There are a lot of citizens in the state of Tennessee today who could not afford to be here… particularly in this economy,” said Antonio Hinton, a 37-year old tea party activist from Knoxville. “They’re just as patriotic. They’re just as concerned. They care just as much about what’s going on as the folks that are in that room.”

Apparently this convention also paid Sawah 100 000$ to speak at their overpriced rubber chicken/frozen peas affair. Speaking of See Sawah run, these protesters don’ t seem to appreciate her presence in their little movement:

Here’s what one of those irked wingnuts had to say:

“We don’t need Sarah Palin to be the face of our movement,” he said. “We don’t need Newt Gingrich or any of these other people, because these people are humans and they can fail. Our values will never fail us as long as we adhere to them.”

I see that even within the confines of the tea-bagger hit parade that the war of the socio-economic classes is alive and well. Two of the organizers of this shin-dig resigned early on because they just didn’t seem to like the direction it was going in. Uh oh! Not a good sign when even some of the organizers run away in a huff.

As you can see, our friend Antonio Hinton comes from one of those poor, bible thumping state where teen-age pregnancies are on the rise.  When will he and the others realize they got brainwashed into fighting for that specific elite class; supporting corporate welfare,  whining against health care reforms that are to serve these very people who more than likely don’t have any coverage and can’t even afford to see the doctor? When will they wake up to see that the neo-con movement is only to serve the rich and not average working class folks like themselves? Yeesh!

Sadly, Canadian neo-tard Harpercon cheerleaders won’t realize they’re not serving their own interests but rather, those that serve the minority rich. They have been just as sucked in as the American tea-baggers.

I’m not confidant they will ever learn; so all we can do is laugh about it, I guess.

  • Keep ‘em coming… you all do such a great job at such Concepts… cannot tell you ways a lot of I, for one appreciate all you are doing!

  • Scott Brown ran a great drive. He got out there and did what anybody running for political office should do – he talked to people, but more importantly, he listened to them. He went to the cities, the suburban areas and the towns, all through the state. He run a clean drive. He spoke to the issues that involved the masses of Massachussetts. Never mind that the people already have healthcare…that worked in his favor for certain, but it wasn’t the only matter on peoples’ minds.
